![]() ![]() It made me more angry than the last DLC for one reason. I don't really care about spies tbh so we will move past them into the latest DLC battle for the bosporus.īattle for the bosporus was fine DLC on the surface of it the DLC was fine however. Games should be fun irrespective of what genre or theme, Should some realism exist? sure, but when the mechanic fundamentally creates a worse experience for the player for the sake of realism you have to think for a moment about Whether it is worth it or not. (which I did btw before you smart asses start telling me i'm wrong) that's annoying. That's not a matter of "getting good" or using the right template. I played as Ireland and beat the UK with some minor help from Spain (yes i am cool /J) and i ended up having to give it away during the war and puppet after the war because i didn't have enough manpower to garrison. If you are a big country you have to allocate A ♥♥♥♥ ton of resources that could be going into fighting other people and if you are a small nation its much more difficult to grow stronger. It makes the game more Sluggish for everyone. it is insane how tedious and annoying on almost every level it is. there should be some backstop for territorial gain. Now before you start biching and moaning about how bad I am at the game hear me out here.įirst i want to say that resistance should exist in some form. The resistance mechanic is one of the worst things they have added to the game. However it was what they added mechanically that irked me a tad. France and Spain had fun focus Trees with nifty paths and ideas. I didn't understand why Portugal got a focus but that was expected at this point. there wasn't anything particularly wrong with the Content they added. However my problems with paradoxes business model and the DLCs in general began to flair up. It sets out to fix something and it does it well. So take that opinion with a grain of salt. But I suck at navy and I never bothered learning and i certainly wont start now. My personal opinion on it was that it was like using a sledgehammer to kill a fly. It had a goal in mind and it tried to fix it. ![]() Navy stacking and spam was a problem and really made the game a breeze. while it did over complicate things a tad it was a necessary change. I know some people dislike the change but think it created depth in a good way. It didn't create too much unnecessary confusion or made the game a slog to play. Like generals and field marshals and that was tolerable. First it was the changes to some surface level stuff in waking the tiger (i got the game just before it). Another update is coming up and I was thinking about the games future and past and I have realised that the game has been less and less fun to play every DLC.
